Walmart had several things in the bakery clearance yesterday. So, more dessert pics today. First Oatmeal Cookies.
Then a Brownie
And finally two pictures of Chocolate Cream Pie.
I went to Walmart, and their bakery has a clearance rack. Each day, there are new items I could use to take photos of. These are vanilla cupcakes with orange frosting.
Apple Pie
Pecan Tart
Pastry Tubes with Vanilla Cream with and without Chocolate Sauce.
The last few days, I have again been able to do some food photography. The first one is Italian Sausage with Pasta Prima Vera.
The Second one was Barbecued Spare Ribs and Sweet Corn.
The third one was Red Beans and Rice.
And finally Salmon with Grilled Yellow Squash.
Waco has a Farmer’s Market downtown on Saturday mornings. We go almost every week, and most of the time we don’t get anything. This time of year, though, there are lots of fresh vegetables. Saturday I got sweet corn, green beans, tomatoes, and yellow squash. They make a pretty good still life.
Friday, Debbie drove her mother up to Iowa. When she got there, she texted me that there was a field of sunflowers on I35 in Itasca that were amazing. So, Saturday morning I drove up there. There were actually several fields on both sides of the highway.
I spent last weekend in Galveston and just about all I had to do was take pictures. I began at the harbor in my usual spot where the shrimp and fishing boats dock. I got some reasonable pictures of birds, but I got a pretty good environmental portrait of this fisherman mending his net.
That evening was Art Walk. After that, I waited until the sun was down and went to the beach. I wanted to get a night shot of the fishing pier. That mean a really long shutter speed which meant that as the waves came in, there was a sequential reflection of the pier’s light on the water.
